Watching your pet dying is like feeling the happiness being drawn out of you like a knife out of flesh. Like you'll never feel happy again, that love was a thing of the past. I know that feeling, it hurts, hurts so much, watching her die. Seeing her huddled up in a corner, her breathes slowing and heavy. It's so hard. Crying still doesn't help, I feel as though I could cry forever and never run out of tears. Death is something we are all afraid of, but losing our loved ones is harder than death itself.
Goodbye, my little June, my little apple-pie. You may just be a hamster to others, but to me, you are my world. I'm sorry if I wasn't there for you when you needed me. I'm sorry if this is my fault.
